The GCAP Engine Delivery & Assembly Processes Industrial Leader will join the GCAP Industrial Management team that coordinates the industrial activities of the new strategic military program. The Industrial Management team is the Supply Chain primary interface. You will provide technical and management leadership during the Program launch and the execution of the development phases. You will define development plans for critical Program enablers throughout the Supply Chain, coordinate all Product Centers and involved functions within Supply Chain (Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Facilities, …) and other relevant functions, and serve as the Supply Chain primary interface reporting to the GCAP Supply Chain Leader. You will also be responsible for readiness of the delivery management process toward the product assembly line, match program milestones in terms of readiness and execution, evaluate and manage related risks, support cost control, and coordinate with the GCAP Engine Industrial Leader. The role is based in Brindisi and requires travel to other Avio Aero sites, suppliers, and abroad. Essential Responsibilities Responsible for the industrialization and readiness of the Airfoils Sub‑module within the LPT module. Responsible for readiness and execution within the Supply Chain of the National Technology Maturation Plans (NTPs) of the Airfoil products and integration with the Demonstrating vehicles and Engine program plans. Responsible for the Delivery Management of his/her area of competence. Create and execute integrated plans according to the Program Target, Program Integrated Master Schedule and NTPs. Provide technical leadership to cross‑functional teams during maturation plan execution. Proactively identify, detect, prevent and manage risks that may impact technical success, timing of execution and program compliance. Responsible for Program Control Board preparation for his/her area of competence. Responsible for reporting‑out to Leadership team. Support Program Management Team on Program MOR preparation. Monitor program progress (reporting relevant KPIs) at the operating rhythm (WOR, MOR). Qualifications / Requirements Master’s degree in Engineering. Technical competence on products and processes, obtained in Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Production Engineering. Previous experience in New Product Introduction development projects/programs. Proven ability to guide and lead others in a matrix environment. Prior program/project management experience. Italian and fluent English language, oral and written. Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required. Desired Characteristics Experience in Aviation Business. Technical knowledge of Aeronautical Engine and related manufacturing processes. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage complex multi‑year technical programs in a matrix resource environment. Previous experience leading multi‑discipline engineering/technical teams. Strong influencing skills in a global environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong process discipline with sound analytic and statistical skills. Know‑how in APQP/AS13100 and LEAN principles and methods. Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly.
