Overview Deputy Compliance Monitoring & Support Mgr(Open also to Protected Categories – Law 68/99) role at Thales . The activity of AWS domain: front desk reparations for civil and military operators, support on the ground and in flight, technical support for A/C developers, operators and maintenance centers. JOB OBJECTIVE The Deputy Compliance Monitoring Manager for Thales Italia S.p.A. - Avionics Domain and Avionics Global Services - VERGIATE will work in collaboration with Vergiate’s Quality Manager and be responsible to maintain aeronautical certification for Vergiate Site as EASA Part-145/FAA Part 145/TCCA CAR 573/CAA UK Part 145 approved Repair Station (AS9110/AS9120/ISO) and to ensure proper application of process and Standards. In addition he will provide operational support to Vergiate’s Maintenance Manager on the Activities of Industrialisation and Data management. Responsibilities Ensure monitoring of the correct and continuous application of the Site applicable Processes Execute Internal Audits and support Audits by the relevant authorities to ensure surveillance/renewal / acquire of new required certification Maintain the Documentation system SMS Ensure Quality Assurance Role on Support Activities Manage the Non Conformity (Customers Claim, Incoming Material) or gap to internal standards and manage Action plan Support Ufficio tecnico, Activities managing updates and communication of Maintenance Documentation; manage current and Future Tools and means in use in Vergiate repair Station. Qualifications Engineering Degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical or related discipline Experience: A first Successful experience in Aeronautical activities EASA Part 145 or Part 21 is required Good knowledge in Quality/Safety Management System for Aeronautic activities Languages: Italian (Fluent - talking, reading & writing), English (Fluent - Talking, Reading, Writing), French (notions) is a plus Team work & adaptability Skills in electronics & mechanics is a plus Computer skills: office suite Soft skills: rigorous, autonomous, good communication skills reactive, proactive, curious, able to synthetize and flexible This position is also open to candidates belonging to protected categories as per Italian Law 68/99.
