TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Springfield, Illinois, 62781! Pay Information $2,302 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required. License: Must have an active IL license. Certifications: BLS and NIH required. Must-Have: - PICC line management and experience with starting IVs required. - Previous charge experience preferred. - Cerner experience preferred. Description: Position available for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse. Shift will be nights starting at 18:45 with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts. The unit consists of 23 beds, and you will be expected to work every other weekend. The facility allows for floating as needed to meet operational demands. There is potential to accommodate block scheduling; please connect with management to discuss. Candidates must be able to secure housing and complete all compliance needs in a timely manner. Attendance and adherence to professional conduct throughout the assignment are crucial. Candidates should have experience with patients diagnosed with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, TIAs, and other neurological disorders. Familiarity with medications such as levetiracetam, lorazepam, aspirin, and heparin is beneficial. Special procedures performed in the unit may include electroencephalograms (EEG) and lumbar punctures.
