TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Conroe, Texas, 77304! Pay Information $1,612 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year Licenses: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: ICU experience with ventilator management and cardiovascular drips Description: The unit has a total of 30 beds. There are 82 staff members available. The staffing model typically consists of 2 charge nurses and 15 nurses, which may vary based on patient acuity and 1:1 needs. Patient ratios can be 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1. The unit is equipped with CRRT, IABP, and Impella, though familiarity with the latter is not mandatory for contract applicants. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates with neuro experience will be prioritized in the hiring process. Typical procedures performed in the unit include thoracentesis, arterial line placement, and central line placement. There is a requirement for four weekend shifts per schedule. No on-call shifts are expected.
