PCU RN Job Details Assignment Length: 13 weeks Location: Warren, OH 44484 (Ohio nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting: PCU/Stepdown Unit Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site Start Date: November 3, 2025 End Date: February 2, 2026 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/Intermediate Care (SDU/IMCU) nursing experience Previous travel nursing experience required Proficiency with ventilators at the IMC level BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications (AHA preferred) Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided) Ability to work night shifts and manage changing patient acuity PCU RN Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments; develop individualized care plans Administer medications and manage critical drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Lasix, Bumex) Provide care for patients using BiPAP, CPAP, high flow, HHFNC, and ventilators Manage mixed acuity cases: cardiac (NSTEMI, stress tests, cardioversions, TEE), neuro, and general medical (HD, AKI, CRF, GI bleeds, COPD, CHF, COVID) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams; advocate for patient needs Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Demonstrate adaptability and respond confidently to rapidly changing patient conditions Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Warren, Ohio!
