Job Title: Program Manager (III) Location: Toronto ON (Remote but local to Toronto) Duration: 12 months contract As a Program Manager on the Developer Relations Ecosystem team, you lead multiple programs supporting developers at scale. This particular role focuses on virtual communities on platforms such as Discord as well as the expansion of traditional community programs to include virtual and hybrid elements. Your role is to operate and manage these communities, to maintain a strong event rhythm, and to ensure a tight integration between virtual community activities and global in-person campaigns or programs. You proactively identify, organize, and lead program activities and stakeholders in order to successfully deliver business, operational, and technical improvements. Minimum role qualifications requirement: 5 years of experience in program or project management. Experience as an online community manager, preferably on Discord. Experience as host and organizer of online events. Sympathy for technical audiences, preferably technical background. Responsibilities include: Independently design, plan and coordinate program activities in alignment with the organization's global campaigns and OKRs Orchestrate a team of volunteers and moderators on Client's Developer Community on Discord Plan, maintain and host a well-defined event rhythm on Discord Establish and expand partnerships with other hybrid or virtual developer communities Ensure compliance across all virtual activations. Additional skills required include: Advanced proficiency in Communications Management (PgM/TPM) Proficiency in Stakeholder Management (PgM/TPM) Proficiency in Execution and Governance (PgM/TPM)
