Portioning and Processing Manager

Will oversee the portioning and processing operations and ensure efficiency, precision, and quality in the meat processing division Key Responsibilities: Portioning and Processing Operations: Manage and optimize portioning processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards Hands-on butchery expertise: Apply skilled butchery techniques to oversee cutting, trimming, and portioning of beef and lamb products Stock Control: Managing stock supply, including online orders and factory shop orders, as well as overseeing stock rotation Consumables Control: Monitor inventory, raw materials, and processing supplies to maintain optimal stock levels Costing and Yield Management: Analyze production costs, yields, and efficiencies to drive profitability and reduce waste Quality and Compliance: Ensure all products meet the company's high quality standards, food safety regulations, and customer specifications Team Leadership and Training: Supervise and train staff to maintain excellence in processing techniques and workplace safety. Formal Qualification : Matric certificate or equivalent Computer literacy Between 1 3 Years meat processing and portioning/Cutting experience Stock control and monitoring experience Vehicle license
