SHE Supervisor

Job Title: SHE Supervisor Reporting to: Operations Type: Contractor Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the direct implementation of SHE Plan. Ensure that the requirements of the SHE Plan are communicated and understood by personnel and contractors on site and enforced. Ensure that documentation is submitted and of good quality. Conduct inspections and audits and follow up on corrective and preventative actions. Conduct EHS Risk Assessments and evaluate the Method Statements before the final Approval. Investigate and report EHS incidents and ensure close out. Prepare and conduct EHS awareness training and presentation. Miscellaneous activities: Support construction and ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the processes. Monitor EHS performance. Develop SOP and EHS Procedures Assisting EHS Manager Provide EHS professional advice to the construction team. Network with other contractors and industries on EHS practices to establish a benchmark. The purpose of the role is to assist on all health and Safety matters on project(s). Assisting and advising the construction team and contractors on Health and Safety matters. Coordinating of contractor Health and Safety officers and report to the EHS Manager. Reduce/ Prevent injury and Illness to all employees on site. Ensure LTIFR is maintained below required target. Ensure proactive Safety Management on the Project. Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction industry medium to large projects. Prior experience in control and instrumentation type projects and ideally in the power plant industry. Requirements: Must have experience in dealing with contracts and ideally NEC The candidate should have the following qualifications: 7 Years Experience SAMTRAC / Equivalent SACPCMP Registered (CHSO) Incident Investigation Hira Legal Liability
