Technical Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Service Support Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote tools. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, escalating where necessary. Assist with system installations, configurations, and routine maintenance. Log, track, and document support requests and solutions in the helpdesk system. Collaborate with senior technical staff to resolve complex issues. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships. Prepare reports and feedback on recurring technical issues and propose improvements. Stay up to date with product knowledge, new technologies, and industry trends. Key Requirements Matric certificate (essential). A technical qualification, diploma, or certificate in IT, Engineering, or related field (advantageous). 13 years of experience in a technical support or service-related role. Strong troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude. Basic knowledge of hardware, software, and networking principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple support requests. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude.
