Position Overview We’re looking for a talented Interior Designer & Sales Consultant to join our team. This hybrid role blends creative design work with consultative sales, guiding clients through product selection and closing sales to meet both their vision and budget. If you’re as comfortable sketching ideas and creating mood boards as you are building relationships and exceeding sales goals, this position is for you. Responsibilities Meet with clients (residential and commercial) to assess needs, style preferences, and budgets. Create and present design concepts, color palettes, and material selections focused on flooring, tile, and complementary finishes. Provide professional guidance on product options, features, and benefits to help clients make informed decisions. Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and timelines; manage the sales process from first contact to closing. Coordinate with installers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality execution. Maintain and update showroom displays to inspire customers and showcase new products. Stay current with design trends, new products, and industry developments. Achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals while delivering outstanding customer experiences. Qualifications Degree or certificate in Interior Design or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. 2 years of combined interior design and/or showroom sales experience (flooring, kitchen & bath, home remodel, or similar). Strong design presentation skills; proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) a plus. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a consultative approach to selling. Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of flooring products, finishes, or building materials preferred (training available). What we offer Base salary plus commission on sales. Opportunities for professional growth and training.
