We are seeking adedicated and experienced Per Diem General Surgeon to provide coverage at asmall, rural hospital in Los Banos, CA. This is a low-volume setting with notrauma responsibilities, offering an excellent opportunity for a surgeonlooking for a more relaxed pace while maintaining a strong community impact. Position Details: Setting: Small rural hospital - low volume, no trauma Coverage Type: Per diem, 24-hour shifts Shifts Available: 4-10 shifts per month (benefits available with 6 shifts/month) Compensation: $1,750 per 24-hour shift (stipend-based) Practice Details: Average Consults: 1-2 per day OR Volume: 3-6 cases per week Case Mix: Elective procedures and ER coverage Trauma: None Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery Active California medical license DEA license ACLS/BLS certification Los Banos, CA, is asmall but growing city located in the heart of California's Central Valley,about halfway between San Jose and Fresno.
