Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1800 per week ER RN Job Details – Augusta, GA Location: Augusta, Georgia 30912 Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Start Date: November 3, 2025 End Date: February 2, 2026 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours: 36 hours per week (guaranteed) Schedule: Every other weekend, 2-3 holidays, and one 24-hour call shift every 4 weeks Emergency Room RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required TNCC certification preferred Willingness to float to ED behavioral health, Pediatric ED, and ED observation units as needed Previous travel nursing experience preferred Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple patients with varying acuity ER Nurse Responsibilities Assess and document normal and abnormal findings in emergency patients Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients and families Perform triage using ESI, administer medications, start IVs, collect blood cultures, and insert urinary catheters Obtain EKGs, monitor patient status, administer blood products, and assist with procedural sedation Respond to respiratory distress/failure, code blue, code stroke, code STEMI, trauma, and sepsis situations Utilize medical equipment such as Accudose, Cerner (FirstNet), Phillips monitors, ISTATS, Accucheck, and chest tube drains Adhere to department policies, protocols, and clinical pathways; complete orientation and competency checklists Provide care for both emergency department patients and inpatient admission holds in the ED Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Emergency Room RN in Augusta, Georgia, and take the next step in your nursing career!
