CNC Miller Setter/Programmer

Job Role: CNC Miller Setter/Programmer Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm Location: Basildon Our client located in Basildon is a CNC engineering company dedicated to producing high-precision components for industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, and advanced manufacturing. Our team thrives on technical excellence, quality workmanship, and pushing boundaries with innovative machining solutions. Key Responsibilities Work independently on Mazak Hurco and Haas CNC milling machines. Interpret technical engineering drawings to develop machining strategies. Devise effective workholding solutions for bespoke components. Set and operate CNC mills to produce precision aerospace components. Ensure all work meets tight tolerances and quality standards. Work collaboratively with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges. Skills & Experience Extensive experience as a CNC Miller in a high-precision, low-volume environment. Strong proficiency in offline programming ). Ability to work from complex technical drawings with minimal supervision. Familiarity with Mazatrol, Hurco, Fanuc and Haas control systems. Aerospace machining experience preferred. Methodical, detail-oriented, and committed to producing work of the highest quality.
