Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Job Description Job Description Education and Experience Requirements: Level 1 - Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Mechanical (or related) Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience. Level 2 - Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Mechanical (or related) Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills: Experience in Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID) development, chilled water system design, pipe sizing calculations, and equipment specification and procurement development for waste processing, nuclear, refinery, power, or chemical process facilities. Experience with developing custom equipment packages, including skid mounted systems and specialty items, such as security doors. Experience working on DOD government projects and with the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs). Experience in working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ASME NQA-1, or AS9100D. U.S. Professional Engineering License in Mechanical Engineering (or ability to obtain within 12 months). Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug and background check, which includes verification of employment and education.
