This busy Level I Trauma Center offers diverse scheduling across multiple shift types, a collaborative physician/APP staffing model, and consistent monthly shifts with competitive compensation. Assignment Highlights Location: Binghamton, New York Specialty: Emergency Medicine Coverage Term: Long-term (6 months) Shifts Available: ~15 shifts per month Shift Times: Physicians: 6a–6p, 9a–5p, 5p–1a, 6p–6a APCs: 11a–11p Annual ED Volume: ~36,000 visits (~2 patients/hour) Hospital Beds: 197 | ED Beds: 28 Trauma Designation: Level I Staffing Model: Physicians with APC coverage (supervision required) EMR: Cerner Privileges: Full credentialing required (60–90 days); no temporary privileges available Candidate Requirements Board Certification/Eligibility: ABEM or AOBEM Licensure: Active New York medical license required (no pending accepted) Certifications: ACLS & PALS required Experience: 3 years Emergency Medicine experience Skills: Full-scope EM physician practice with APC supervision Why This Opportunity?
