Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in neuro and body interventional procedures for a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center. Responsibilities Work in an Interventional Radiology unit supporting both neuro and body procedures Handles adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations with a wide range of acuity Utilizes single and biplane Siemens radiography units for interventional procedures Performs both outpatient and inpatient procedures Uses McKesson PACS and Cerner PowerChart (Cerner experience preferred but not required) Day shift, 4x10 hours, Wednesday through Saturday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM Mandatory call one weekend per month and 1–2 additional days per week, with holiday call required Floating may be required per facility guidelines, including to other units as appropriate Responsibilities include supporting high-acuity neuro and body interventional radiology procedures for diverse age groups Call and holiday coverage required as part of the team rotation Patients vary from outpatient to inpatient with a wide range of acuity levels Team members must be willing to float to other units as required by the facility Must be able to work 50% of holidays during the contract Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at a reduced rate Returning travelers must have a 9-month gap between assignments Requirements Minimum of 2 years overall experience with at least 1 year in interventional radiology Current MO or Compact state license required for consideration (license required if applicable) Experience in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center is expected Proficiency operating single and biplane Siemens radiography units Familiarity with McKesson PACS and Cerner PowerChart preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624628.
