Travel Radiology Technician - $2,748 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title: Temp - Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray (Days) Pittsfield, MA HEALTH SYSTEM WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. Description DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager. Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required. May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist. Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems. Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR and PACs applications. Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation. Maintains department competencies as required. Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography Requirements BLOCK SCHEDULING IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS NEED 2 Years experience, 1 YEAR CURRENT EXPERIENCE ARRT (R) Certification - Required Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred Must be willing to work weekends Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need Certification Requirements ARRT Certification Requirements BLS State License Requirements Massachusetts Meta Sense Job ID 25-17827.
