ASU-Beebe, a two-year residential community college part of the Arkansas State University System, is seeking to compile a pool of qualified candidate(s) interested in future part-time teaching opportunities in the following academic disciplines: a. Health Information Technology The successful candidate will possess advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, disease processes, surgical procedures, medical office procedures, and Microsoft Office Suite software; provide consistent, quality teaching. Courses may be taught on any of the ASU Beebe campuses, with night and Saturday classes possible, and could include face-to-face, zoom, internet assisted and online instruction. Instructors may be asked to teach up to (9) credit hours per semester. *Required Qualifications:*Associate’s (or higher) degree in related field and at least two (2) years of related, non-teaching work experience; ability to inspire, motivate, and empower students to succeed; strong computer and technology skills. *Preferred Qualifications:*Previous teaching experience; RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCSP credentials; Current member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) *Minimum Salary or Salary Range:*$650 per credit hour *Stand:*regularly *Walk:*regularly *Sit:*frequently *Use hands to finger, handle, or feel:*frequently *Reach with hands and arms:*frequently *Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl:*occasionally *Talk or Hear:*continuously *Up to 10 pounds:*frequently *Up to 25 pounds:*frequently *Does this position have any special vision requirements?
