Graduate Mechanical Engineer

JOB – Graduate Mechanical Engineer LOCATION – East Grinstead TERM – Permanent SALARY – £25,000 to £30,000 per annum (plus benefits) My client is a specialist engineering company working across a range of sectors, including industrial machinery and bespoke mechanical solutions. They are looking to take on a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team in East Grinstead . The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline • Knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Willingness to learn and develop within the company The Graduate Mechanical Engineer role will involve: • Supporting the design and development of mechanical products and assemblies • Creating 3D models, detailed drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) • Assisting senior engineers on live projects from concept through to production • Liaising with production and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability of designs • Contributing to continuous improvement and design optimisation initiatives • Preparing technical documentation and supporting project delivery If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations.
