Responsibilities Caring for acutely ill individuals and coordinating with discharge planning experts, community resources, and family physicians to ensure smooth patient handovers. Collaborating with departments such as Anesthesia, General Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Radiology, Urology, and Oncology. Coordinating tertiary referrals to Kelowna when advanced treatment is necessary. Maintaining clear clinical documentation using electronic physician documentation to support care plans and efficient rounding. Locum Path and Scope Immerse yourself in the North Okanagan while delivering patient care as a locum. This role involves supporting the VJH team and participating in a broad set of services through a collaborative approach with multiple departments. Compensation Compensation Type Alternative Payment Arrangement Estimated Remuneration You’ll be compensated on the APP clinical service contract’s hourly rate of $187.38, plus MOCAP level 2.
