Lodge Operations Manager

Hospitality and Outdoor- New Vacancy – Lodge Operations Manager Luxury multi Safari lodge property – Kruger Park I am recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join the leadership team and oversee the effective management and coordination of all guest-facing and operational departments. This pivotal role ensures the seamless and efficient running of lodge operations, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives. Acting as the bridge between the General Manager and operational teams, the Operations Manager will drive performance, support departmental heads, and cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Requirements: · Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury hospitality operations in 4/5* luxury lodges or hotels. · Strong financial, operational, and people management skills. · Proven commitment to delivering world-class guest experiences. · Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management (preferred). · Knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and labour regulations. Key Responsibilities: · Operational Leadership: Support the General Manager and oversee all lodge operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning and high service standards across departments. · Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor performance, control costs, and drive profitability while maintaining excellence. · Team Management: Lead recruitment, training, and development of operational staff; foster a positive, high-performance culture. · Guest Experience: Oversee personalized service, lead guest teams and handle feedback, complaints, and special requests. · Strategic Execution: Contribute to strategic planning, implement SOPs, and report on operational performance. · Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and support teams; represent the lodge in meetings and communications.
