Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily operations of the storeroom, including receiving, storing, issuing, and distributing materials. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliations. Enforce policies for proper storage, labelling, and handling of goods. Coordinate with purchasing, production, and other departments to ensure material availability. Monitor stock levels and generate requisitions for replenishment. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and cleanliness standards. Manage documentation for stock movements (receipts, transfers, disposals). Book parts out on job cards daily. Prepare regular reports on stock status, usage, and discrepancies. Continuously improve inventory management processes and storage efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 5 yearsâ experience in warehouse, storeroom, or inventory management. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Friendly yet firm personality with proven leadership skills. Fast learner with a positive, team-oriented mindset. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Contactable references required. Age 35â45 preferred (negotiable). Working Conditions: Based in the storeroom. Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting. Full-time role. Hours: Monday â Friday: 08:00 â 17:30 & every second Saturday: 08:00 â 17:00. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
