Information System Security Engineer III

As an Information System Security Engineer III, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital and physical infrastructures, crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our operations. This position requires an individual who can blend deep technical knowledge with a strategic mindset to enhance our security frameworks within the challenging environments of the Military, Aerospace, and Defense sectors. Design, deploy, and manage security architectures for processing classified information. Perform regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with government, military, and corporate security specifications and standards. Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Stay abreast of the latest in security technology and implement new technologies as they become applicable to our operational needs. Lead cybersecurity initiatives, providing guidance to junior engineers and other technical staff. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance security protocols and procedures. Proficient with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001. Strong knowledge of network hardware, encryption practices, and secure coding techniques. Expert in configuring and supporting security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, patch management systems, etc. Skilled in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and identifying security deficiencies. Able to communicate complex security risks and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
