Cleaner

The Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all aviation facilities and aircraft. This position ensures that cabins, offices, and operational areas are kept spotless, safe, and ready for passengers, crew, and staff. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced and safety-sensitive environment. Key Responsibilities Aircraft & Facility Cleaning Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft cabins, including seats, galleys, lavatories, and overhead compartments. Ensure that aircraft are cleaned and replenished within strict turnaround times between flights. Clean and sanitize offices, lounges, kitchens, and other operational areas as required. Restock supplies such as toiletries, hand towels, and cleaning materials. Health, Safety & Compliance Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including aviation and airport security protocols. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and completed tasks. Teamwork & Communication Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and ground crew to meet operational timelines. Follow instructions precisely to ensure compliance with aviation service standards. Support special cleaning projects or deep cleans as assigned. Key Requirements Education & Experience Minimum of Grade 12 Previous experience in cleaning, preferably within an aviation, hospitality, or facilities management environment. Experience in aircraft or high-standard cleaning will be an added advantage. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation. Ability to follow safety and security protocols precisely. Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties and handle equipment. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Good communication and teamwork skills. Personal Attributes Professional appearance and conduct. Honest, trustworthy, and responsible. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
