Finance Director - Fully Remote role at Mercor Base pay range: $120.00/hr - $150.00/hr About The Job Independent Contractor – Remote – 6 weeks – 20–40 hours/week – $120–$150/hour Role Responsibilities Write tasks and scenarios reflecting real-world financial management based on professional experience. Create realistic situations involving budget planning, financial reporting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning. Develop scenarios for overseeing accounting teams, preparing financial forecasts, managing audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing financial controls. Review and evaluate AI responses to financial management queries for accuracy and professional standards. Provide detailed feedback on financial management scenarios to improve AI training. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance. Qualifications 4 years professional experience as a financial manager, finance director, or controller. Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities. Proficient with using computers and navigating various software systems. Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills. Pass video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz. Preferred: 14 years experience. Start Date: Immediately; rolling reviews. Compensation: Hourly compensation, paid weekly via Stripe Connect. Contractors maintain full control over schedule and methods.
