About Us Ginga provides a comprehensives range of broking services for the energy market. We cover both OTC and exchange-listed futures across oil, gas, petrochemicals, biofuels, palm oil and rubber. Our hybrid offering includes both traditional voice broking, as well as electronic execution. In 2019, Ginga was acquired by GFI Asia Holdings, which is division of BGC Partners. Broker The Broker is responsible for managing the procurement and sales of petrochemicals within global markets. This position requires strong market knowledge, business acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry players, including traders, producers, refineries, chemical plants, and end-users. Job Responsibilities Conducting in-depth analysis of the petrochemicals markets, including supply and demand dynamics, price trends, and market participants. Facilitating the purchase and sale of petrochemicals and related products for clients, negotiating prices, and managing logistics. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with market insights and brokerage services. Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the company's market share in the petrochemicals sector. Keeping abreast of industry regulations and ensuring that all trading activities comply with applicable laws and guidelines. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 1 years of experience in commodity trading, or brokering, preferably in the chemical or energy sectors. Familiarity with the global supply chain and trading platforms used in chemical commodities. A strong understanding of the chemical industry, particularly in the production and trading of petrochemicals and related chemicals. Expertise in negotiating contracts and managing complex deals with global suppliers and customers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. Proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in the commodities or chemical markets. Ability to manage multiple transactions and clients simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with the logistics and regulatory aspects of global chemical trade, including environmental, health, and safety considerations.
