Mobile Hydraulic Application Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Mobile Hydraulic Application Engineer candidate. The candidate will be fundamental for our external customer support, ensuring achievement of our revenue growth objectives. The candidate will be working with key partners and customers, developing hydraulic applications on mobile machines. The candidate will be based in Johannesburg. Matric, Qualification in BEng, BSc, B Tech Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineer, N6 qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Preferably 5 -10 years experience within engineering and/or customer services environment. Preferable good working knowledge of Fluid Power, Hydraulics and/or Mobile machines. Drivers licence. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills. Good communication skills Verbal and non-verbal. Basic Computer skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Mobile machine hydraulic and control application engineering. Technical sales. Developing and implementing business strategies in conjunction with management Maintain and grow existing customers On-board and develop new customers in consultation with the National Project Sales Manager Provide technical and service support to customers Grow sales from customers assigned to you while maintaining ethical standards. Manage customer accounts Assist engineering and design office with designs and developments Grow sales to achieve or exceed monthly/annual targets Visit new and existing customers with the aim of growing. Sales forecasting Attend training courses. Engineering mobile machine hydraulic and control applications. Driving technical sales and providing expert product knowledge. Collaborating with management to develop and implement business strategies. Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers. Onboarding and developing new customers in consultation with the National Project Sales Manager. Delivering technical and service support to customers.
