Restaurant / Cafe Manager - Day Shifts

Situated in the vibey hub of Cape Town, this restaurant / cafe is seeking a young, vibrant and energetic Manager to ensure the restaurant operations run smoothly. Working day shifts, your duties and responsibilities will include: Opening and closing of the restaurant Extensive guest interaction, welcoming guests and ensuring exceptional service is provided as well as attend to any queries, special requests or complaints Staff management including preparing rosters, conducting training, co-ordinating timesheets with payroll and attending to any staff assistance required Stock control including ordering, stock rotation and stock take Hands-on floor management where required End of day cashing up and banking Attending to any other duties as required REQUIREMENTS: SA Citizen Matric / Grade 12 Qualifications Food & Beverage / Hospitality qualification highly advantageous - 2 years previous experience as an Assistant or Snr Floor Manager in an up-market restaurant Well presented with excellent communication skills in English Computer literate with previous experience working on POS systems Preferably reside in the surrounding area of the city bowl
