Key Responsibilities * System Installation & Maintenance Install and maintain heating, plumbing, and chilled water systems in commercial plantrooms and boilerhouses. * Welding & Pipework Perform arc and gas welding on a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, copper, and galvanised pipework. Use methods such as: * Press-fit * Victaulic * Brazed * Soldered * Project Ownership Manage your own jobs or work as part of a small team, ensuring high standards and timely completion. * Client Liaison Interact directly with clients, delivering professional and responsive service on-site. Requirements * Recognised qualification as a Heating Engineer or Pipefitter (Senior Craftsman level desirable). * Proven experience in plantroom and boilerhouse installations. * Skilled in arc and gas welding, and competent with various pipe fitting techniques. * Confident working with a range of materials (mild steel, stainless steel, copper, etc.). * Able to work independently, manage workload, and complete projects from start to finish. * Gas testing and purging skills (advantageous). * Experience with steam systems (preferred but not essential). * Comfortable in client-facing roles, with strong communication and professionalism. * Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
