Tyre Fitter / Serviceperson

Our client is a well-regarded civil contractor specialising in rehabilitation, earthworks and mining services across Tier 1 mine sites throughout WA. They currently have a long-term opportunity for an experienced Tyre Fitter / Serviceperson to join their team on an FMG Exploration project. About the Role This position offers a mix of tyre fitting and service truck duties. You'll work with a diverse fleet of mobile plant and light vehicles including D9 Dozers, Cat & Volvo Excavators, Kenworth Trucks, Graders, Rollers and LV’s. Key Responsibilities Rotating, changing and monitoring wear on earthmoving and road train tyres (up to 25") Daily servicing, greasing, fluid top-ups and fuelling of plant and LV's Assisting with service truck operations and maintaining accurate records What You'll Need Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter in mining, civil or transport environments Certificate II in Tyre Fitting HR Licence (essential) Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and in a small team National Police Clearance or willing to obtain Construction White Card Ability to pass a pre-employment medical/DAS Full Unrestricted Australian Working Rights What's on Offer $65/hr casual rate 2/1 roster - day shift only 12-month project with career progression opportunities Supportive training and development Temp to perm position To Apply Click ‘Apply Now’ and send through your updated resume if you meet the above criteria.
