Executive Housekeeper - Family Beach Resort, Kenya

Our client operates a busy family beach resort in Mombasa, Kenya, and they now require an experienced and energetic Executive Housekeeper to join the team. With over 280 rooms, extensive public areas and an on site laundry, this role oversees 40 staff. Candidate attributes / skills Prior African experience is a pre-requisite for the role Candidates must have held an Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper role in a similar sized four or five star property The role is extremely hands on and the Executive Housekeeper needs to be constantly engaged with his/her team on the floor Will be expected to implement new higher cleanliness standards throughout the resort and maintain them at all times – consistency is essential Must be an excellent trainer The property is remote so need to be a good planner and have the ability to think on your feet Creative thinker Ability to manage a multi-cultural team of 40 Prior remote location experience would be a big advantage Good communicator and motivator Must have a good sense of humour and be able to interact comfortably with the clientele Package Salary up to US$2,500 net per month Single status Medical Insurance Annual flight home Accommodation provided on site Please do not apply if you do not possess the specified skills and experience stated above.
