One of Cape Town’s well-known Hotel & Apartment Block Management Companies is expanding quickly with substantial growth and success of upmarket contemporary hotel apartment share blocks throughout the V&A Waterfront, Green, Point, Sea Point and greater Atlantic Seaboard ProStaffSelect are in search of a HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR / MANAGER to oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage staff, liaise with the maintenance & front office departments, monitor staff performance and develop a true culture of hospitality excellence and professional guest service. REQUIREMENTS: • High school with a Housekeeping / Hospitality Qualification; • At least 6 years supervisory hotel housekeeping experience in a 4 or 5-star environment with excellent working knowledge of housekeeping systems & staff planning; • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for guests; • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional personality / Exceptional customer service skills; • Knowledge of housekeeping management software like Opera & all Microsoft Office applications; • The ability to multitask, innovate and be flexible at all times; • Physically fit and active – able to stand & walk for extended periods of time; • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills; • Effective communication, leadership, training & motivation skills when dealing with staff.
