Restaurant Floor Manager - Rosebank

High-end Restaurant based in Rosebank is looking for a Restaurant Floor Manager to assist the General Manager in organizing and running the restaurants activities in accordance with company's standards. The FOH Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the restaurant, food & beverage departments, training and managing restaurant staff . Duties: Responsible for FOH duties and ensuring excellent guest relations Responsible for helping the restaurant meet service, sales, and profit objectives Supervising and directing associates in daily work activities Ensuring proper training of employees Maintaining good customer and public relations Ensuring that guests have a positive and memorable experience every time they visit Ensuring proper compliance with cash control procedures, and performs related accounting and administrative reports as required Manage Daily Operations and POS functions Check Inventory, order FOH Supplies Inspect, open and close restaurant in accordance with daily checklists Enforce Company Policies and Procedures with Cash handling & reconciliation Requirements: Grade 12 A formal F&B / Hospitality Management qualification will be an advantage At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in a guest facing FOH position Ability to multitask, and change priorities constantly as needed in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics; Self-starter, flexible, and able to work independently Exceptional organizational skills Good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff
