Job Description
Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Function Co-Ordinator / Reception / MOD Private Game Reserve – Bloemfontein, Free-State Excellent opportunity for a well-presented and professional candidate with strong organisational and guest service skills to join this beautiful boutique lodge. Requirements: • Well-spoken, well-groomed, and professional presentation • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans - Essential) • Strong organisational and communication skills • Previous experience in a similar hospitality role advantageous • Diploma in Office Administration or similar qualification beneficial (no degree required) • Computer literate – MS Office Suite, email, POS systems Responsibilities: • Receive, interpret, and respond to all function-related queries (email, phone, and in-person) • Compile and submit accurate quotes within required time frames • Maintain and track all function and booking schedules • Prepare detailed function sheets following quote acceptance • Communicate all event specifications to relevant departments • Oversee the smooth execution of all functions and events • Assist at Reception with guest check-ins and front office duties • Act as Manager on Duty in the restaurant when required Package on Offer: • R12 000 – R16 000 per month (depending on experience) • Single live-in accommodation (no dependents/pets) Starting Date: ASAP
