Employer Description Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape Job Description A prestigious conservation and hospitality group in is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Duty Manager for one of its Eastern Cape-based lodges. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a remote, nature-rich setting. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring smooth coordination across departments Lead and motivate staff to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction Handle guest relations, resolve issues promptly and ensure personalized service Support stock control, maintenance scheduling and shift planning Uphold health, safety and environmental protocols Assist in hosting VIPs, site inspections and special events Qualifications Matric Relevant Hospitality qualification will be advantegeous Minimum 3 years’ experience in lodge or hospitality management Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Skills Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Passion for wildlife, conservation and guest engagement Tech-savvy with basic admin and reporting skills Professional, proactive and calm under pressure Benefits Live-in position with accommodation provided Meals on duty Annual leave One scheduled day off per week (non-traditional cycle)
