Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Head Guide for a luxury safari Lodge in Kruger National Park. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established property where you will contribute to maintaining exceptional standards and ensuring memorable guest experiences. Requirements: • FGASA Level 2 or higher qualification (theory and practical completed) – essential • Full Trails Guide qualification – advantageous • DEAT/THETA registration – advantageous • Valid First Aid Certificate – essential • Valid South African Code 8 Driver’s License with PDP – essential • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Senior Field Guide or Head Guide in a Big Five reserve or similar environment • Leadership or supervisory experience within a guiding team – strongly preferred • Passionate about wildlife, conservation, and eco-tourism • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills • Excellent organisational, communication, and bush interpretation skills • Calm, confident, and professional under pressure • Proficient in English; additional languages beneficial Package: • Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience • Live-in position To apply for the Head Guide position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements for the position will be contacted.
