Within this setting, the Villa Chef plays a central role in crafting culinary moments that reflect both creativity and care, ensuring each meal enhances the rhythm of the guest experience. Purpose of the Role To curate, prepare, and present exceptional cuisine that reflects the villa’s ethos of elegance, authenticity, and excellence. The Villa Chef will oversee all culinary aspects of the residence, ensuring an elevated dining experience for guests while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, organization, and discretion. Key Responsibilities Design and prepare refined, seasonal menus inspired by global and local influences. Execute dishes with consistency, precision, and aesthetic presentation. Maintain a pristine and well-organized kitchen in full compliance with food safety regulations. Plan, source, and manage ingredients, emphasizing quality, freshness, and sustainability. Cater to bespoke guest requests and dietary preferences with creativity and sensitivity. Collaborate seamlessly with the household and service teams to ensure smooth, anticipatory service. Manage kitchen inventories, budgets, and supplier relationships. Maintain absolute discretion and professionalism within a private household environment. Mentor and guide any assisting kitchen staff when required. Skills & Attributes Exceptional culinary technique and artistic presentation skills. Deep understanding of modern and classical cuisine. Strong menu development and food styling abilities. Calm, adaptable, and composed under pressure. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Service-minded, discreet, and attentive to guest preferences. Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards. Qualifications & Experience Formal culinary qualification or extensive fine dining experience. Previous experience within luxury villas, boutique hotels, or private residences preferred. Proven ability to design and execute bespoke menus tailored to individual guests. Ideal for a chef who thrives in an intimate, high-touch environment offering creative freedom. Working Conditions Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and irregular hours as required. Kitchen environment involving long periods of standing. Own reliable transport essential.
