F&B VACANCY ALERT Position: Food & Beverage Anchor Location: 5★ Luxury Safari Lodge, Northern Cape Property Type: 5★ Safari Lodge Role Overview A world-class luxury lodge is seeking a Food & Beverage Anchor to lead service delivery with a strong floor presence. This is not a desk-bound role—it requires a hands-on leader who thrives in guest interaction, elevates dining experiences, and ensures the waiter team is trained to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be passionate about hospitality, have a deep appreciation of food and wine, and embody excellence in guest service. Key Responsibilities Lead from the floor, actively engaging with guests to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Mentor, train, and inspire the waiter team to deliver service at 5★ standards. Maintain an impeccable standard of service across all dining venues. Oversee daily F&B operations with a focus on seamless guest interaction and detail. Showcase exceptional wine knowledge, guiding guests through curated pairings and selections. Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to enhance and innovate guest experiences. Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years’ Food & Beverage experience in a 5★ lodge, boutique hotel, or fine-dining environment. Strong wine knowledge, with the ability to recommend and pair confidently. Hands-on leadership style with proven team training and mentoring skills. Excellent communication and hosting ability. South African citizenship or valid work permit. Salary & Benefits R18,500 per month. Live-in position with accommodation provided. Additional benefits (provident fund & medical aid contributions).
