Job Description
This modern & contemporary daytime Restaurant, Artisan Bakery & Deli in Cape Town offers a vast selection of farm to table style cuisine with freshly made take-away, counter or sit-down menu options. All dishes are homemade & baked using farm-fresh ingredients and made from scratch. ProStaffSelect are in search of a skilled and highly organized RESTAURANT MANAGER to handle daily operations, oversee service, coordinate staff, manage merchandising and control procurement. REQUIREMENTS: - Qualification in food service/Hospitality Management with a passion for FOOD & strong knowledge of farm cuisine - 4-6 years Restaurant Management experience in upmarket restaurants or Food Retail - Exceptional knowledge of MS Office, POS & Back of House Systems - Well presented, service focused, engaging personality, with the ability to deal with clientele - Ability to handle high-stress situations and work under pressure - Effective delegator / able to solve problems and find solutions - Shows attention to detail, must be self-disciplined with excellent planning and organizational skills while juggling multiple responsibilities & remaining accountable for all aspects of the business. - Flexible and physically fit - able to work long hours on your feet, on weekends and holidays - Exceptional knowledge of Artisanal Cuisine, including Craft Coffee - Positive personality focused on motivating and managing the team - Strong leadership skills & ability to innovate - Excellent Management, Admin, Planning & Stock Control Skills
