Sales Manager (Leisure) - Dar Es Salaam

Fast growing operator of 5* Lodges is looking for a Sales Manager (Leisure) based in Dar es Salaam to drive FIT and Leisure Group Sales across the portfolio. The ideal candidate will develop and execute sales strategies targeting travel agents & DMC’s to maximise occupancy and revenue across the lodges. Open to local & expat candidates. Duties: Develop and manage client relationships with travel agents and DMC’s specialising in East Africa Luxury Travel Create and implement sales strategies to increase group bookings for Serengeti & Zanzibar properties Conduct regular sales calls and presentations to promote unique selling propositions. Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client information, and pipeline management in a CRM system. Working with reservations, operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements. Requirements: High school Diploma Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Sales or Hospitality At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position within the luxury lodge / hotel industry with a focus on FIT & Groups bookings In depth knowledge of Tanzania’s tourism landscape, focussed on Serengeti & Zanzibar regions Established network within the travel agent & DMC community
