Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for a luxury 5-star property in Plettenberg Bay This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious property where you will take ownership of all maintenance operations, ensuring the property is kept in pristine condition while leading a dedicated maintenance team. Requirements: 3–5 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or similar environment Proven managerial experience in maintenance operations Strong planning and execution skills within maintenance functions Computer literacy Solid technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems Motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic personality Team player with a positive attitude Ability to work under pressure and willingness to work shifts Key Responsibilities: Take full ownership of all maintenance challenges relating to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance Develop and implement maintenance procedures Inspect facilities regularly and resolve challenges efficiently Oversee regular maintenance of refrigerators, air conditioners, and other equipment Manage and liaise with external service providers and contractors Purchase and manage stock levels for daily maintenance requirements Monitor and manage the maintenance budget effectively Package: Competitive salary (details to be discussed during the interview process) Opportunity to work in a world-class 5-star property Supportive and professional team environment To apply for the Maintenance Manager position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo today.
