Food & Beverage Supervisor 4★ Hotel – V&A Waterfront Surrounds We are looking for a passionate and professional Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team at a 4-star hotel in the V&A Waterfront surrounds. This role is ideal for an energetic hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a flair for service excellence, and takes pride in leading a team to deliver memorable guest experiences. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Minimum Grade 12 / NQF Level 2 in Food & Drink Service or a Hotel School Diploma. 2–3 years’ experience in a similar supervisory position within Food & Beverage. Computer literacy essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fluent in English – verbal and written; additional languages advantageous. Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, and perform well under pressure. Strong customer orientation with charm, sophistication, and excellent personal grooming. Ability to work shifts and occasional overtime. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support the F&B team, ensuring consistent delivery of high service standards. Maintain excellent guest relations and resolve complaints quickly and effectively. Monitor operating equipment, ensuring correct handling, storage, and stock control. Ensure accurate billing and compliance with hotel procedures. Provide skills training and development to staff, upholding performance and disciplinary standards where required. Ensure staff appearance and conduct consistently reflect the hotel’s professional image. Apply sound knowledge of financial controls and contribute to efficient F&B operations. Reporting This role reports directly to the Food & Beverage Management team.
