Job Title: Guides with Back-up or Full Trails Location: Democratic Republic of Congo Job Type: Permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week Primary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Secondary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Job Duties: Lead guided trails for groups of tourists Provide informative commentary on historical sites and landmarks Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during the trail Assist with any issues or emergencies that may arise Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour at all times Required Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment Strong knowledge of local area and Flora and fauna First aid certification Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent Experience: Prior experience in Guiding Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to adapt to chalanging situations quickly Preferred Qualifications: FGASA or Bushwise First Aid ARH Back-up or Full Trails Working Conditions: Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Frequent walking and standing for long periods Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays
