Hospitality and Outdoor – Apply Today - Head of Housekeeping Resort – Schoemanskloof, Mpumalanga Requirements: · Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in housekeeping supervisor role withing the Hospitality industry (Essential) · Strong Leadership & People Management · Professional verbal and written communication · Financial Literacy · Deep understanding of housekeeping and laundry operations. · POPIA, OHS Act, Service Agreements, and company policy adherence · Guest-Centric Mindset · Experience with PMS like HotelTime, Vento & GuestRevu · Multilingual – English & Afrikaans – additional languages a bonus (Advantageous) · Valid South African Drivers License (Essential) Description: · Oversee Housekeeping operations & Laundry operations. · Implement and maintain RHS standards across all operations. · Ensure hygiene, uniform, and professional presentation standards for all staff. · Control finances and budgets. · Manage stock control, procurement, and disposal. · Monitor expenses and transfers. · Staff development, performance reviews, disciplinary processes, and training. · Maintain updated personnel files, job descriptions, and mandates. · Lead weekly housekeeping meetings, daily planning and implement motivational plans. · Meet & greet guests. · Resolve complaints proactively and track compliments. · Oversee welcome letters/packs and guest communication. · Adhere to statutory documents, house rules, POPIA regulations, health & safety protocols, and company policies. · Oversee and coordinate all refurbishment and housekeeping projects. · Adhere to a 7-year plan for refurbishments. · Use and manage systems. · Ensure accurate data entry.
