The Junior Pastry Chef will assist in the preparation and execution of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods, ensuring consistency, presentation, and excellence in every dish. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation, baking, and presentation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Ensure recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards are consistently followed. Support the senior pastry chef in menu development and seasonal offerings. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to hygiene and food safety standards. Monitor ingredient quality and freshness, assisting with stock rotation and inventory management. Contribute creative ideas while maintaining the brand’s quality standards. Be adaptable to event-specific and client-specific pastry requirements. Requirements Culinary qualification with a focus on pastry or baking. Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required. Strong attention to detail with a passion for precision and presentation. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
