✨ Lodge Manager – Luxury Safari Lodge ✨ Thabazimbi | Salary: Negotiable DOE | Live-in Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Lodge Manager to join a luxury safari lodge in Thabazimbi. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional with a proven track record in luxury lodges or boutique hotels to step into a leadership role where exceptional guest service meets seamless operations. Key Focus Areas: Guest Experience – Be a hands-on host, engage with guests daily, manage VIPs and media visits, and ensure a world-class safari experience. Operations Management – Oversee all departments (F&B, housekeeping, guiding, guest relations, maintenance) to deliver flawless lodge operations. Staff Leadership – Mentor, motivate, and develop your team, fostering a positive culture and driving service excellence. Finance & Stock – Manage budgets, control costs, maintain supplier relationships, and oversee stock management. Compliance & Sustainability – Uphold health, safety, and HACCP standards while supporting eco-conscious initiatives. Reporting & Communication – Provide accurate updates, guest feedback reports, and operational insights to senior management. What you’ll need: 3–5 years’ senior management experience in a luxury lodge or 5-star hospitality environment Strong leadership & people management skills Guest-centric mindset with exceptional communication abilities Excellent organisational & problem-solving skills Solid knowledge of lodge operations & hospitality standards Valid driver’s licence & own transport Proficiency in MS Office & property management systems Who you are: A professional, adaptable and solutions-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic environment.
