Executive Housekeeper - Large Resort - North West

My Client a leading hospitality cleaning company is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee housekeeping operations at a prestigious Resort in the North West Province . This role requires a detail-oriented leader with a passion for excellence in cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team management. Previous hospitality and time share experience would be advantageous. It’s high-volume guest turnover with over 400 units, 1000 bedrooms. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. Manage and coordinate Assistant Housekeepers, Supervisors, Room Attendants, and Housemen . Work closely with Reception, Maintenance, Security, and Room Service to ensure smooth operations. Maintain strict housekeeping standards while staying within allocated budgets for cleaning supplies, salaries, and other costs. Oversee the condition and maintenance of accommodation and public spaces. Implement and monitor on-the-job training programs for housekeeping staff. Order and manage cleaning chemicals, materials, linen, and uniforms. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and hygiene regulations. Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally to enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements & Experience: Hospitality Diploma/Degree (Essential for work permits and visas). 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping or supervisory management within hotels, resorts, or lodges. Previous experience in establishments with 200-300 rooms . Proficiency in hospitality Property Management Systems (PMS) . Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
