Hospitality and Outdoor - New Vacancy - Maintenance Manager 5* Safari Lodge – Greater Kruger area, Limpopo A wonderful opportunity has opened up for a well experience Maintenance Supervisor/Manager to be in charge of the general maintenance at this stunning boutique lodge. Only candidates with hotel/lodge maintenance experience will be considered Requirements · Grade 12 (Essential) · Trade qualification beneficial · Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Supervisory role in the hospitality sector · Computer Literate- MS Office Suite (Word/Excel), Email, can prepare reports · Financial Acumen- must be able to prepare basic financial reports, stick to a budget and do inventory control · Good all-rounder (Electrical, Plumbing, Building, Air-conditioning) · Sound knowledge of property maintenance (landscaping, septic tanks, pools etc) · Driver’s licence (essential) · Young, hardworking, hands on individual with sober habits · Detail oriented and organised Description · Responsible for the overall Maintenance of lodge and farm, and all other facilities, including the upkeep of buildings, fixtures, furniture and equipment, landscaping and gardens, and recreational facilities. · Responsible for quality service, meeting/exceeding financial goals, short and long term planning and day-to-day operations. · Prioritise, plan, schedule assign and supervise the engineering department staff. · Oversee the maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion. · Ensure effective stock control procedures and methods are enforced and that the maintenance expense budget is achieved. · Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards. · Ensure a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program for lodge and farm is implemented and that all essential equipment is serviced and maintained in a manner which prolongs the lifespan of all equipment. · Communicates with guests and conducts regular satisfaction checks and provide feedback. · Communicates with management and provides feedback on any issues or routine maintenance that needs to be scheduled that would interfere with guest satisfaction · Responsible for managing the maintenance team according to relevant laws and procedures. · Perform occasional other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
