Job Description
Job Title: Community Liaison CPT Location: City of Cape Town, Constantia, Constantia Nek Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Secondary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Job Duties: Establish and maintain positive relationships with the local community in Constantia, Cape Town Act as a liaison between the company and the community to address any concerns or issues Organise and participate in community events to promote positive engagement and enhance the company's reputation Collaborate with local businesses and organisations to support community initiatives Provide regular updates to the management team on community feedback and sentiment Required Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of local community dynamics Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification Experience: Previous experience in community engagement or customer service roles Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the local area and community resources Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Ability to build and maintain positive relationships Preferred Qualifications: Further education in community development or related field Experience working in the travel, leisure, tourism, or hospitality industry Working Conditions: The role involves regular interaction with community members, occasional evening or weekend work for events, and may require travel within the local area.
