Job Title: Housekeeper CPT Location: City of Cape Town, Cape Town, Hout Bay Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Secondary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Job Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming Maintain cleanliness and organisation of assigned areas Change linens and make beds according to standards Stock and maintain supplies in designated areas Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department Familiarise yourself with safety procedures and guidelines Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or related field Knowledge and Skills: Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products Preferred Qualifications: Additional training or certifications in housekeeping Working Conditions: Full-time position with regular hours May require working weekends and holidays Physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment
